Grade 3 honey means little to no filtering of the honey, allowing all of the natural components that the bee put into their honey to stay in the honey, making it the most natural honey product other than Comb Honey. No. 1 honey is the most filtered honey on the market, being filtered at 0.1778mm, therefore, filtering out all pollen and natural food additive the bees put into the honey. No. 2 grade honey is filtered at 0.2489mm so also is very finely filtered honey. This is how Canada Grading of honey works. No.1 honey in Canada is actually the most processed and therefore, the most unnatural honey Grade.
